Operational Manager

About the role

As our Operations Coordinator, you keep our day-to-day operations on track by connecting departments, sites, and suppliers. Your work makes sure schedules, requests, and information flow smoothly so our team can focus on designing, building, and supporting unmanned aerial systems and their ground control stations.

You are the point of contact for operational matters, making sure nothing falls through the cracks. By tracking deadlines, preparing reports, and keeping our records up to date, you help us deliver on our commitments and keep every part of the process moving.

What you will do

  • Coordinate daily activities across departments and sites so everyone has what they need, when they need it.
  • Track orders, requests, and deadlines, following up with the right people to resolve delays.
  • Prepare and review operational schedules, reports, and meeting notes for accuracy and clarity.
  • Maintain up-to-date operational records and documents in our ERP system.
  • Work with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to address operational questions and requests.
  • Compile and distribute reports, schedules, and meeting notes to those who need them.
  • Coordinate the movement of materials, equipment, and people between sites in partnership with logistics and procurement.
  • Arrange meetings, site visits, and inspections, making sure all documents and details are ready.
  • Answer questions from internal teams and suppliers about operational status and procedures.

What success looks like

  • Deadlines and follow-ups are tracked consistently, with nothing left unresolved.
  • Operational reports are accurate and delivered on time to the people who need them.
  • Requests between departments are resolved smoothly, without the need for escalation.
  • Operational records and schedules are always current and easy to find in the ERP.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification.
  • One to two years of experience in an operations, administration, or coordination role, or vocational training with hands-on experience.
  • You are comfortable preparing and reviewing reports, schedules, and meeting notes.
  • Experience tracking orders, requests, and deadlines, and following up with different teams.
  • Confident using ERP, document management, and office software (including spreadsheets and scheduling tools).
  • Skilled at organizing, planning, and prioritizing tasks in a busy environment.
  • Clear written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate procedures and status updates.
  • Attention to detail when maintaining records and processing information.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with logistics, procurement, or in a production environment.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence or data analysis tools.
  • Background in supporting technical or engineering teams.

Who you work with

You report to the Operations Manager and work closely with department supervisors, logistics, procurement, and internal teams across our company. You do not have direct reports but are a central point of contact for operational matters between departments, sites, and suppliers.
